Orders to UK mainland are sent on a next day service, although it is not uncommon for delivery to take 2-3 days.
Deliveries to offshore UK and Ireland can take up to 7 days, and may be subject to additional charges. For overseas orders, please check the delivery time and cost with us when placing your order as it varies by country and region.

The Henchman Hi-Step is an adjustable garden platform that provides a flexible working solution for a variety of garden jobs. Its strength and durable aluminium frame means that you can get the most usage out of your ladder, keeping you safe and when working at height.
Fully adjustable legs for uneven ground
All four legs of our Henchman Hi-Step platform are adjustable, meaning that you’ll always have a flat, non-slip foundation to work on. Our legs can independently expand up to 2ft. However, this can increase to up to 5ft with our Adjustable Platform Step Ladder Extender, no matter the original size of your ladder.
If you’re looking for complete flexibility when it comes to your working height, then our Hi-Step platform is the ladder for you. This ladder is tested by the British Standards Institution (BSI) and conforms with BS EN 131-2:2010+A2:2017, meaning that, with our Henchman Hi-Step aluminium garden ladders, you’ll experience professional safety when working at height.
Comfortable, non-slip garden platform
Our 2ft x 2ft marine plywood platform is fully enclosed, providing a spacious space that ensures you’re safe and comfortable when working at height. With the platform, you get to work hands-free, bend in all directions, and remain level when the ladder is on uneven terrain. You’ll certainly have a wobble-free experience with our Henchman Hi-Step platform ladder.
Compact and easy to move around
The Henchman Hi Step Platform Ladder is quick and easy to put away. The ladder folds down in 30 seconds and can be conveniently stored in a garage. It’s also ideal for transportation on a car roof rack - just what you need when moving between jobs.
To make things even easier, we offer Hi-Step Trolley Wheels, a set of wheels attached to a frame that allow you to push and pull your Henchman platform without much difficulty.
What jobs is the Hi-Step suitable for?
This adjustable Henchman Hi-Step garden platform is suitable for a range of garden jobs, including:

The Henchman Hi-Step can also be used for indoor projects, such as painting a high ceilings. Our feet prevent scratches and dents in hard floors, so you can use the platform ladder without worry.
Selecting the right size Henchman Hi-Step Platform Ladder
We designed our Hi-Step Ladder to be as flexible as possible. That’s why we offer multiple sizes for you to choose from.
Our largest size - the Henchman Hi-Step Maxi - has a working range of 10ft to 14ft.
On the other end of the scale, the working range of the Henchman Henchman Hi-Step Midi is 7ft to 11ft, while the Henchman Hi-Step Senior has a range of 8ft to 12ft.
Note that all measurements provided are with ladder legs fully retracted. The height of our ladder platforms is 3ft below the overall height of the ladder, for example the Hi-Step Midi is 7ft tall, the standing platform is at 4ft.
To ensure you choose the right ladder size for you, you should know how high you need to reach before placing your order. For example, if you’re looking to trim a hedge, you will need a ladder that’s the same height as that hedge.

Heights are with extendable legs retracted, based on 6ft / 1.8m person, and will vary depending on user and tools.

To avoid ordering the wrong sized ladder, it’s important you know exactly how high you need to reach before you order.
For example, if you’re using your ladder to trim hedges, we suggest picking one that’s more or less the same height as that hedge.
