Why choose a chipper shredder from Henchman?

Shredders have a dubious history.  Many people have, in the past, been disappointed by the performance and longevity of many brands.  If you wish to buy a shredder, choose Henchman, because the technology in our range has moved on, it's different - to the point that it is unique and patented in the UK. Most importantly it works really well!

Henchman's range of shredder chippers exploit the natural weakness of the wood by cutting along the grain - not across.  This improves efficiency, i.e greater throughput.  We advertise a recommended maximum trunk diameter - this does not stop you putting a bundle of trunks through of this size - the machine will let you know by slowing down temporarily, if you are reaching it's capacity as far as the size of the bundle is concerned.  Generally, old school technology requires one shute for leafy material and another for chipping woody trunks.  By implication you have to spend time seperating the two.  Not so with Henchmans range.  One hopper takes all the material.  This saves you preparation time and means the hoppers can be wider relative to the overall size of the unit - again this means more through in one go.  Cutting along the grain naturally requires less force, i.e engine power, and consequently less wear on blades, less maintenance therefore; and less petrol consumption.  All excellent reasons for choosing HENCHMAN.

IMPORTANT NOTE

All Henchman petrol shredders, fully assembled, safety tested and ready to work will be delivered by an appointed local service agent, who will callibrate the engine revs specifically.  Engines are not callibrated by manufacturers at assembly stage to suit specific applications and be warned may not work optimally if not given this service.  Henchman attention to necessary detail!  (Not applicable to our electric shredder).
