Unique to our log splitters is the specially forged, hardened, double chamfer (arrow shape) splitting wedge, that focues all of the 10 tonnes of splitting force into one point on the log, in one moment, improving the splitting capacity by an estimated 10 times.
The Heavy Duty Tractor Mounted Road towable log splitter RT400 is designed to transport horizontally and operates having been put into the vertical position. It is a petrol powered unit.
For added safety all hydraulic pipes are covered in anti burst lagging. Both hands are required on the lever to operate the ram. The platform is self clearing of large logs, leaving less lifting for you to do. Lifting the lever powers the spliting wedge through logs and lowering the lever retracts the ram as far as required for the size of log.
