Unique to our log splitters is the specially forged, hardened, double chamfer (arrow shape) splitting wedge, that focues all of the 10 tonnes of the splitting force into one point on the log in one moment, improving the splitting capacity by an estimated 10 times.

The Tractor Mounted log splitter TM400 is designed to fit any vehicle that is fitted with ISO Cat 1 and 2 linkage and has free flowing hydraulic supply available.  This will include low horsepower compact tractors ( a minimum of 10 HP required) right up to large, high horsepower tractors and every thing in between, up to 370 HP.  The unit can be fitted to the front or rear three point linkage.  With the TM400 you can split logs up to 400mm in length; there is no technical limit to diameter of log workable.

For added safety all hydraulic pipes are covered in anti burst lagging.  Both hands are required on the lever to operate the ram.  The platform is self clearing of large logs, leaving less lifting for you to do.

Lifting the lever powers the spliting wedge through logs and lowering the lever retracts the ram.
