Unique to our log splitters is the specially forged, hardened, double chamfer (arrow shape) splitting wedge, that focues all of the 10 tonnes of pressure into one point on the log in one moment, improving the splitting capacity by an estimated 10 times.
The SE400 Petrol Log splitter is powered by an 8HP Honda Loncin G240F petrol engine, producing a 10 tonne splitting force. A log of 400mm can be split and there is no technical restriction to diameter of log, just the practicality of lifting heavy logs your self.
For added safety all hydraulic pipes are covered in anti burst lagging. Both hands are required on the lever to operate the ram. The platform is self clearing of large logs, leaving less lifting for you to do. Lifting the lever powers the spliting wedge through logs and lowering the lever retracts the ram.
