Unique to our log splitters is the specially forged, hardened, double chamfer (arrow shape) splitting wedge that focues all of the 10 tonnes of pressure into one point on the log in one moment, improving the splitting capacity by an estimated 10 times.

The E300/E400 specification relates to length of log that can be split due to the movement of the hydraulic ram.  So, the E300 cutting axe will allow a 300mm long log and the E400 a 400mm log.

The Electric Log Splitters from Henchman carry the same features and tough design as compared with the petrol and Tractor driven models in the range, but are driven by a 230V/1.5KW Electric motor off a standard 13 A plug.

For added safety all hydraulic pipes are covered in anti burst lagging.  Both hands are required on the lever to operate the ram.  The platform is self clearing of large logs leaving less lifting for you to do.

Lifting the lever powers the spliting wedge through logs and lowering the lever retracts the ram.
