Henchman lend a hand to independent landscaper

Henchman, the brand trusted by professional and amateur gardeners, has successfully launched into the landscape sector with the sale of a number of Henchman products to Warwickshire based John Hughes Gardening Services.
John Hughes, the managing director of the company purchased a number of Henchman platforms following the nasty experience of falling from a stepladder. The firm regards the Henchman Midi and Junior platforms a safe alternative to conventional ladders, especially when dealing with chainsaws and other garden equipment.
John said: "Henchman products are unique to the market and the landscaping sector as a whole. Safety and peace of mind is top of my list when cutting high trees with gardening equipment such as loppers and chainsaws. Following a nasty accident with a stepladder, I am conscious of my safety at all times and find the Henchman platforms to be easy to use and very trustworthy."
He added: "I would even go as far to say that the platforms have saved my life on many occasions and I could not do without them."
Henchman products were first brought to John’s attention at Saltex 2000. He was very impressed with the range of platforms on offer and consequently went on to purchase a Henchman Midi and Junior.
The majority of the Henchman Hi-step range is available in either steel or lightweight aluminium. With the freedom of having both hands free to use garden equipment, thanks to the large platform and surrounding guardrails, gardeners are free to work on lower hedges and shrubs up to a height of 10' for the Midi and 9' for the Junior range.
The legs on the platforms micro adjust when on soft or uneven ground to ensure that there is always an even surface from which to work upon.
Tom Dorich, marketing manager for Henchman, said: "Henchman platforms are both diverse and easy to use. Adhering to the Work at Height Regulations 2005, the platforms are extremely safe to use and ideal for those working in the landscaping industry. The durability of the products means that they are flexible enough to be taken to the job."
